amaryllis hybrids

here are few unnamed hybrids from my collection blooming right now.

Hippeastrum - Blossom Peacock

Blossom Peacock - incredible, symmetrically formed with 3 layers of rich reddish pink petals and a white throat and midrib; upfacing; wonderful mildly sweet fragrance; standard height with moderate large flowers.my favourite amaryllis.it is gift from a gardening friend atif waheed.

Hippeastrum 'NARANJA'

Naranja has beautiful strong orange flowers with large petals on tall stems.
Large spectacular trumpet shaped flowers in followed by dark green strap foliage are atreat for eyes.flower size is very big and all 4 flowers bloom at a time so a spectacular view.

Hippeastrum 'Neon'

"Neon Pink" is an absolutely incredible fluorescent performer, It's amazing. The total blooms in a scape, the color, the perfect form. it blooms with six flowers peer stalk.stalk height is also very high...a must have amaryllis.

Update March 2017...

neon rose is a vigorous hippeastrum. produces a lot of babies.and offsets start blooming after just two years.this year my neon is sending 5 scapes. two from mother bulb and three from baby bulbs which are just two years old.

Hippeastrum 'Ambiance'

Ambiance - clear white and clear red with feathers on red here and there; bright and beautiful with huge size flowers.color tones are very vivid and sharp.lower size is almost 7 inches above.a beautiful addition in my garden.
